		<description>Subtext is actually a pretty vibrant and alive project lead by Phil Haack; and it does seem to have a very vibrant community around it. 

You can also look at DasBlog which is really alive and being run by Scott Hanselman and Omar Shahine.  

I’ve personally been positively surprised at the responsiveness and supportiveness of the team and scott in particular when I was trying to move my blog over to it. They were very helpful. 

New features are being added to both of these blogging engines all the time.

Wordpress is cool too.</description>
